Who offers Shopspotting?

The model was introduced by Merchavio, so far the only provider (as of October 2026). Shopspotting describes the model: a commission on the revenue-based fee sellers pay their shop system on every sale. You do it through Merchavio. That is why all the numbers on this site are Merchavio’s, and Merchavio’s partner terms are binding. This site is run by Merchavio as well.

What is Merchavio?

Merchavio is a shop system for digital products. Sellers use it to build their website and shop, sell courses, coaching, memberships, downloads and livestreams, and manage their customers, all with one login. The money from their sales goes straight into their own Stripe account. What Merchavio can do in detail, and how to explain it, is covered in the overview of the shop system you recommend.

Why does Shopspotting fit a shop system?

For a seller, a shop system is a tool they work with every month: their shop, their courses and their checkout run on it. With Merchavio, they pay two things for it:

• The plan: a fixed fee every month, €19 to €499 net depending on the plan.
• The fee on every sale: 1.2% to 1.9% of the price plus €0.25, depending on the plan.

Both payments repeat for as long as the seller is a customer. That is why your commission comes back every month too: a fixed part from the plan and a part that rises with their sales, as the earnings example shows.

How does the money flow from the buyer to you?

Set the shop’s monthly revenue with the slider. It assumes an average of €100 per sale and the cheapest plan for that revenue.

That is one seller. You can bring as many creators, coaches and experts to Merchavio as you like. Each one counts separately and the amounts add up.

So your 25% is calculated on what the seller pays Merchavio: the fee and the subscription. Your commission grows with their revenue. This is an example, not an average and not a promise (prices as of October 2026).

What do you get with Merchavio as a Shopspotter?

• 25% of every sales fee your sellers pay plus 25% of their monthly plan on top, net and with no expiry date.
• Your own Shopspotter account with its own login, separate from any seller account, even if you use the same email.
• The Shopspotter area with your referral link and short link, clicks over the last 30 days, the sellers you referred and your commission per month.
• Settlement by self-billing credit note instead of your own invoice, and payouts via PayPal or SEPA transfer.
• Protected terms: later changes to rates or conditions only apply to sellers referred afterwards.
• Public partner terms that set out all the rules.

Where do you find the rules and the calculator?

Who can become a Shopspotter with Merchavio?

You can join as a business: as a self-employed professional, freelancer, agency or company, including small businesses exempt from VAT, and also from other EU countries or from outside the EU. Merchavio settles every payout by self-billing credit note and needs your business details for it, so taking part as a private individual is not possible. Merchavio can also decline a registration, for example if the places where you want to advertise don’t fit the rules. Everything about the requirements for Shopspotters is on its own page.

How do you start with Merchavio?

The button below takes you to the Shopspotting page on merchavio.com and from there to the signup. You sign up with email and password or with Google, accept the partner terms and confirm that you take part as a business. Your link is then in your Shopspotter area.
