How much does a Shopspotter earn?
At Merchavio, a Shopspotter receives 25% of the fee on every sale their sellers make and, on top, 25% of their monthly plan (€4.75 to €124.75 per seller per month). The share of the fees grows with the sellers’ revenue. How much that adds up to depends on how many sellers you refer, how much they sell and how long they stay.
Where do your earnings come from?
Every seller pays Merchavio for two things: a small fee on every sale and a monthly plan. You get 25% of both. The basis is the net amount the seller actually pays. All figures on this page are Merchavio’s, as of October 2026.
A growing share of sales
On every sale, the seller pays 1.2% to 1.9% of the price plus €0.25, depending on the plan. 25% of that goes to you. If they sell more, this part grows with it. For sellers who sell well, it is the larger one.
On top: a fixed amount from the plan
Depending on size, the plan costs €19 to €499 net a month. Your share of it is between €4.75 and €124.75 per seller per month. This part stays the same as long as the seller keeps their plan and pays it in full.
The exact calculation, including discounts and VAT, is explained in how the commission is calculated.
What does that look like in practice?
Say you recommend Merchavio to a yoga teacher who sells an online course for €50. She is on the Growth plan and sells the course 200 times a month. For that she pays Merchavio €49 for the plan and €210 in fees on her sales. Your 25% share works out like this:
This is an example, not an average and not a promise. Prices as of October 2026, all amounts net. If she sells a similar amount next month, a similar amount arises again.
What happens when your seller grows?
The plan share stays fixed, while the fee share grows with revenue. A second example with Merchavio’s prices shows this: a seller on the Growth plan sells a product for €10. On each sale they pay a fee of €0.41.
- At €5,000 in revenue a month, so 500 sales, they bring you €63.50 a month.
- If their revenue rises to €15,000 a month, so 1,500 sales, it is €166.00.
Your base from the plan is €12.25 in both cases. The part from sales rises from €51.25 to €153.75. You don’t have to do anything extra for the higher commission: it simply follows the seller’s sales. This too is an example, not an average and not a promise, prices as of October 2026.
Several sellers count separately
Every seller who signs up through your Shopspotter link brings their own amount, based on their plan and their revenue. The amounts add up. If, for example, you have one seller on Starter and one on Growth, the two plans bring you €17.00 a month together, plus your share of both sellers’ fees (an example, prices as of October 2026).
What do your earnings depend on?
- How many sellers you refer. Each paying seller brings their own amount.
- How much they sell. More sales mean more fees and so more commission.
- Which plan they are on. The plan sets the base amount and the fee per sale.
- How long they stay. Commission has no expiry date. More in how long you receive commission.
- Whether their payments go through. If a seller’s payment to Merchavio is refunded, charged back or fails, the commission on it is reversed too. The details are in what happens if a seller cancels.
Whether you support your sellers after recommending Merchavio makes no difference to your rate. The commission depends only on what they pay Merchavio.
How do you work it out for a specific seller?
If you know someone who already sells digital products, you can run their numbers yourself. There is a calculator on merchavio.com for this: enter the plan, monthly revenue and average price per sale, and you see what that seller would bring you each month. The calculator’s result is an example too, not a promise.
